I am the daughter of Freeman Byard of Winnipeg, who was Tucker Collins best friend. I took Dad to see Tucker in the Deer Lodge whenever I visited Winnipeg. So I grew up with Tucker's children, and also babysat Royce's children Darren and Kelly Collins. My Dad is 75 now and he misses Tucker so much. I reside in King of Prussia, PA and have 2 sons Felix, 22 and Maurice, 20 both in college. I have done OK with my life thus far and am divorced, and earned both BSN and MBA degrees. I work in pharmaceutical research and travel a lot. I met Andre, Gary, and Marilyn in 1976 while visiting with Leslie Collins in Montreal (what a fun trip--eh Leslie) I have pictures too! My family wish to thank all involved in the planning ( Dad & Michelle). Cant wait for 2007 as my kids keep asking when are we going to Mtl. My wife Deb says that we will have to try to plan a family trip in summer of 2006. 2007 commitee keep the spirit alive and lets see if the Mtl connection can pull off a better time than 1995 and 2005. For me, the reunion was a chance for me to see family members that I hadn't seen in forever, and to meet family members that I have never met, which was such a special moment for me. At my age, when we spend most of our time trying to figure out who we are and where we are going in life, I am lucky to have been able to see, firsthand, where I've been, in a sense. Having been to what Derold fondly refers to as the "motherland," and being able to see and feel exactly what it means to be a Collins, regardless of where you live, I have this overwhelming sense of belongingness and neverending love for you all, as well as a more profound knowledge of who I am and who I would like to be. After having the chance to finally meet all of my family I just want to express how proud Iam to be assicated with such a fine group of people.
